We are delighted that the government took the MAC (Migration Advisory Committee) Review of the Graduate Route recommendations – along with the significant voices from across the sector – seriously, announcing yesterday no change for the graduate work visa for international students. We praise the tireless efforts of the education sector to advocate for international students, from Universities UK and Universities UK International, the International Higher Education Committee (IHEC) the British Universities International Liaison Association (BUILA), British Council, the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), the Russell Group universities, as well as the many leading university voices across the UK regions.
The outcome demonstrates what we all know to be true: international students have a positive impact on student diversity, university ecosystems and economies. The recent UK government announcement is good news for international students, but also good news for UK universities.
Our commitment to supporting our agent network and our teams on the ground is unwavering and we will continue to work closely with agents and universities in delivering what is required whilst maintaining quality outcomes for students and universities.
The UK remains a country open for international students.Â

This is truly the best outcome. Â
